We had a great pizza night here! The traditional was super cheesy and the sausage and ricotta was amazing! Ingredients are very fresh too. Will try the entrees next time.
This was an unexpected find in Belleville and the staff is very friendly! -

Okay pizza and service. Our server kept disappearing. For a place with "pizza" in their name, their pizza was just alright and I'd probably rate it the same, even if I was drunk. My hubs might have really enjoyed their Martha's Vineyard Salad which was a yummy combination of mesclun, apples, dried cran, candied walnuts, gorgonzola, and raspberry vinaigrette with an add-on of salmon, but for pizza, especially in New Jersey, I was unimpressed.
NOTES/TIPS:
**Parking in front in a shared plaza lot.
**DJ on Fridays, 9pm. Live music on Saturdays.
**Wheelchair access via ramps. -

I have been here 2 times and the service was very good both times. The food however was awful. I paid an overpriced $20 for cavatelli pesto pasta . It was swimming in sauce and tasted heavy. Definately from a can. It loaded with peas. There must have been a can of peas. I regret not taking a picture. It was ridiculous. Just awful.
I had gone with a coworker a few weeks prior and my pizza was super salty.
The service, the parking and music made it worth giving another try but the food was worse the 2nd time. I also find the dinner prices much higher than the other local restaurants. -

Not sure how to feel about Brix but when I left it just had me thinking "huh?"
It just seemed to have a weird atmosphere the night I went for a bite to eat with my fiancée, which was really unexpected cause I imagined a Saturday night here would be a bit more lively I guess? There were just a couple tables of people seated and we chose to sit at the bar. We had a couple of beers and split a plain pie with a side of rice balls. The food was decent, nothing to rave about but it was enough to fill us up for the night. I love getting rice balls when I'm at an Italian restaurant and these fell pretty short compared to others.
I was excited to try this place because it's so close to where we live and I had heard good things just by word of mouth. I'd probably go back and give it another try and see what a full dinner would be like. Maybe this was just an off/quiet night for Brix! -

Came here on a Wednesday night for their free dance lesson at 9pm... super fun, a huge turn out & social dancing in the restaurant/bar area after the class.
Kitchen is open till midnight & seems like a American restaurant with pizzas, burgers, pastas but the bartender offered a Latin fusion special: corned beef empanadas. Sounds nom!
I just did something small, ordered 2 side dishes: meatballs & brussel sprouts. The meatballs came as 3 large servings & 1 heaping casserole of sprouts. It was dark but I can tell the sprouts were oily, very much. Then sprouts were cooked super where it was still formed but soft in the middle. I would have liked it more if there was more flavor & less oil/butter... whatever it was.
The meatballs were a bit crumbly, which is fine if it was meaty but I think they had mixed bread crumbs... too much that it tasted more like a matzo ball. Ehhh, not my favorite meatball, but it sufficed for my protein intake.
Otherwise, the dancing is what you should come here for!
